Lisa Cleary is a tough love self-help author and blogger. She recently released the book, How to Survive a Breakup: When All of Your Friends are Birthing their Second Child. Lisa is the guest in episode 89 of The Path to Authenticity

What is your profession?

I’m a writer and blogger, and have always wanted to be since the second grade.

What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?

I would love to be a sommelier!

What is your preferred form of creative expression?

Natural conversation. We take face-to-face interactions for granted!

Over the course of your life, what is an issue with which you have repeatedly struggled?

I am a perfectionist — which is sometimes good, sometimes bad.

What natural gift would you most like to possess?

Hands down to freeze time.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I am very proud of my book, but my greatest achievement is the high quality of relationships in my life.

What quality do you admire most in a person?

Kindness, honesty, and a strong work ethic.

What is your idea of success?

To be happy, and I have succeeded with that, although my version of happiness is always evolving.

What would you like people to say about you when you’re gone?

I would love for people to say, “We really loved her and will continue to love her.”
